is IntraSpy?

Who
needs IntraSpy?
You can use IntraSpy to monitor your kids, your students, your employees,
etc., or simply use IntraSpy to recall your own actions or to remember passwords,
web pages you visited, unsaved text, etc. IntraSpy monitors all applications,
online and off-line, permanently (if you have the registered version). Natasoft
registered thousands of home and professional users, parents, researchers, teachers
as well as companies, government and public organizations. For more info, read

Is
it legal to use IntraSpy?
IntraSpy is a monitoring software product. The same laws that govern the
use of other surveillance and monitoring products should be considered when
using IntraSpy. Selling or buying a monitoring camera is not illegal. But its
use may become illegal if, for instance, you use it to spy on your neighbors
instead of monitoring your own house, apartment or business, etc. Each country
has specific laws regarding personal privacy. You should always respect these
laws when using IntraSpy or any other monitoring product or device. We recommend
you clearly inform the computer user(s) that the machine is monitored. You must
also read and agree with all the terms of use included in the user license agreement
before installing IntraSpy. Natasoft may not be held responsible for the consequences
resulting from the use of any of our products.
Is
IntraSpy compatible with my system?
IntraSpy is compatible with Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT (4.0 and
higher), Windows Millennium, and Windows 2000. Please note that IntraSpy may
fail to run correctly if your system is already unstable. If you have software
conflicts, IntraSpy may fail to work correctly simply because it monitors the
whole computer system. We recommend you run a diagnostic utility (such as Norton
WinDoctor and Norton DiskDoctor) periodically to ensure that your system is
optimized and configured correctly. Norton Utilities and Norton products are
the property of Symantec Corporation.
There are also other diagnostic tools available. Try a search engine like altavista.com
or CNET's download.com
or other download sites and do a search there.
Is
IntraSpy compatible with Windows XP?
IntraSpy is NOT currently compatible with XP. Natasoft is planning to release
an XP compatible version in the near future. Please note that software release
announcements are made exclusively on our online News
page.
Does
IntraSpy capture keystrokes during a HotMail Session?
Yes. IntraSpy captures everything the user types in any application (online
and off-line).
Does
IntraSpy capture passwords?
Yes.

I
need to get IntraSpy very quickly. How long will it take you to process my order?
The fastest way for you to get IntraSpy is to order online by credit card.
The online system will immediately verify your credit card information and if
your payment is authorized, you should receive an email message with your license
and download URL within a few minutes - this process may be slowed down due
to network problems, heavy traffic, etc. You can also order by phone or by fax
using your credit card. This process is also fast. Mail orders are slower to
process if you decide to pay with your credit card and may take up to one month

I
ordered IntraSpy on CD-ROM. How long will it take to deliver the CD?
The CD-ROM manufacturing and delivery service is completely handled by RegSoft.com.

I
am a network administrator, how can I monitor my network effectively using IntraSpy?
Create a shared directory on the server and
one subdirectory for each user's log file. Define appropriate permission profiles
to allow the administrator to fully access the log files. Other users may be
granted restricted access to log files - e.g. so they may not view or delete
the log...
I
installed the registered version, but it's still logging for 60 minutes only.
What's wrong?
The registered IntraSpy version is not installed
correctly. You must remove any previous IntraSpy version correctly before installing
the registered version: Call IS Manager. Click the "Uninstall IS Server"
button. When IS Server is uninstalled, close IS Manager and reboot your system.
Go to Control Panel Add/Remove Programs and uninstall the IntraSpy program.
If you don't see IntraSpy in the Add/Remove Programs list, you may have hidden
it from IS Manager (Advanced Security): Explore Windows System directory (System32
under NT) and make sure the following files are deleted: ISSRV.EXE, ISSRV.DLL,
ISSRV.DAT. Locate IntraSpy's installation directory (by default, it's c:\program
files\natasoft\intraspy...) and delete it. Finally, you may setup and run your
registered IntraSpy copy.
IntraSpy
is asking me to enter a password but I don't know it. What can I do?
Go to Windows System (System32 under NT) directory
and delete a file named ISSRV.DAT. Warning!!! If
your log is encrypted and you delete ISSRV.DAT, you won't be able to view it
so we recommend you erase it from IS Manager before you resume logging. NEVER
forget your passwords!
I
registered IntraSpy but I can't find the code to unlock my shareware copy. Where
is that code?
When you register IntraSpy you get a totally
different and unlimited version to replace your shareware version so there's
no such code you can use to unlock your shareware copy. Please read again the
email message you received upon registering IntraSpy for the instructions. Don't
hesitate to contact us if you need any help.
I
am a registered IntraSpy user and I had to reformat and to reload my OS. Could
you please resend me a copy of IntraSpy?
Please send us a copy of the email message
that you received when you registered IntraSpy - the email message that contains
your license reference and personal information. Send your message to support@natasoft.com
and we shall provide you with another registered copy.
How
do I remove IntraSpy from my system?
Call IS Manager. Click the "Uninstall
IS Server" button. When IS Server is off, close IS Manager and reboot your
system. Go to Control Panel Add/Remove Programs and remove the IntraSpy program.

do I hide IntraSpy's system tray icon?
Call IS Manager by double clicking on IntraSpy's
small icon in your system tray. Click button "Configure IS Server".
Disable (remove the check mark of) the following option: "Show IS Server
icon on Windows task bar". Press the Escape button twice on the keyboard
to close the configuration dialog box and IS Manager.
I've

Open your Start menu and run IS Manager from
IntraSpy's folder under Programs. If this folder is absent for any reason, use
Explorer to open IntraSpy's installation directory (that's where you installed
IntraSpy on your computer. By default, it's c:\program files\natasoft\intraspy...).
Run the program file named ISMGR (ismgr.exe). You may also use the "Find
Files or Folders" command from the Start menu to locate file ISMGR.EXE
and double click on it from the search results window. In IS Manager, click
button "Configure IS Server". Enable (check) the following option:
"Show IS Server icon on Windows task bar". Press the Escape button
twice on the keyboard to close the configuration dialog box and IS Manager.
I
would like to learn more about IntraSpy's features. Do you provide a manual?
A detailed manual is shipped with both the
shareware and the registered version (in file intraspy.hlp). Call IS Manager
and click the "Help" button or open (double click) intraspy.hlp manually
from Explorer.
I
have registered a previous IntraSpy version and I'd like to get the latest version.
What should I do?
Please send us a copy of the email message
that you received when you registered IntraSpy - the email message that contains
your license reference and personal information. Send your message to support@natasoft.com
along with your request.
I'm
experiencing conflicts between IntraSpy and other software on my computer. Can
you help?
IntraSpy is running perfectly on thousands
of different configurations, but not on yours... IntraSpy monitors all your
programs so any conflict in your system may affect IntraSpy. Please run a diagnostic
utility (such as Norton WinDoctor from Symantec
Corporation or similar products) to detect and resolve any software conflicts
on your system. Also make sure that your system is optimized, that you have
enough memory and disk space and that your system is not overloaded. Make sure
that you have installed the latest patches for all your drivers and operating
system extensions. Get rid of compatibility problems by upgrading all your software.
Again, if your system is optimized and configured correctly, IntraSpy should
run perfectly. Try disabling your startup programs (programs that load automatically
with Windows and stay their forever - many of them aren't really useful, are
they? but they're still 'around' in your system's memory and/or your system
tray) and see if it solves the problem. If you need more help, please feel free
to contact us. Please give as much technical details
as possible including a description of your software and hardware configuration.
Does
your software use any Aureate/Radiate or similar reporting technologies?
Definitely
not! Natasoft is totally against the illegal and immoral uses of these technologies
and we totally respect our users' privacy. If you don't know what 'Aureate/Radiate'
technologies mean, do a search in any search engine and learn how to protect
yourself! Also learn more about firewalls... We are willing to provide a special
web page on these issues so check out our web site frequently!
My
antivirus software displays a warning while scanning IntraSpy's program files.
Why?
IntraSpy is a system-wide monitoring
and reporting utility that can detect and log all user activity while staying
totally invisible. Some antivirus programs may suspect IntraSpy's behavior patterns
and its use of specific functions. They 'think' it may be a Trojan virus or
some generic - unknown - virus while IntraSpy is simply doing its job to provide
the user with the exact software features that are described in the IntraSpy
documentation. Thousands of home and professional users - including government
institutions - agree that IntraSpy doesn't harm or 'steal' computer data. It
simply offers the same features listed in the documentation. If your antivirus
software displays a warning while scanning IntraSpy's program files then it's
a false alert. You may report any warning to the company that makes your antivirus
software and they are supposed to tell you - if they do analyze the program
files - that IntraSpy is safe. If your antivirus is reporting IntraSpy as a
listed virus, we strongly encourage you to inform
us as soon as possible and we shall take the appropriate legal actions against
the manufacturing company. Please include the company name, the full alert message
- if possible - and the name and version of your antivirus program. Also tell
us which IntraSpy version you are scanning and where you got it from.
