What is Wicca?
Wicca is a pre-christian earth religion and its followers are a very diverse group of people. We believe in the divine which is both male, the god, and female, the goddess, although many traditions are mainly goddess based. I feel the need to point both deities out. The divine is a balanced power that is  neither good nor evil, as nature is neither good nor evil, we do not worship satan let alone believe in him. We are peaceful people and abide by some important rules, one is the Wiccan rede " an it harm none... do what ye will" and another is the three-fold law which dictates that all energy is  returned to you three-fold, thus a negative spell will bring to you three times the negativity. Wiccans or witches practice either alone, Solitary, or with a group called a coven. We celebrate 8 holidays though out the year based on the cyclic nature of the seasons. During these holidays members of the covens meet in a ritual circle to perform there rites. Wicca is a  refreshing look at life and an escape from a overbearing predominately christian society.  In wicca you choose your own path, here is a freedom to express your own  personal beliefs and values. Unfortunately because of this many wiccans are secretive about there practices fearing the loss of there jobs, friends and families. I believe that you must follow your heart and create your own path.
