Donations requested from any persons with the means and heart to donate for what I firmly believe is the God given right of every human being regardless of their situation in life. The reasons for their situation makes no difference. Every human being has the right to eat and drink which is the most basic substance of life. WATER should be free to every human being. Donations received will be used to support organizations that provide meals to human beings! Nothing will go to large national organizations. The mindset here, is to help small local organizations trying to feed people in need in their own communities. The amount of donations makes no difference, as the combined efforts of individuals will go together to feed the hungry.
I do feel strongly about the need for the community to feed people regardless of the reasons people find themselves in situations where they are unable to help themselves. Somewhere out there, I too, have a relative who fell prey to substance abuse & homelessness. I truly hope that others where ever he may be, will support organizations that provide meals to simply help those that are hungry.
