| The XSell point-of-sale
system is comprised of five fully integrated modules:
Xsell MainDescription: This module contains menus and palettes for access to all other program modules. The Main module is the starting point for an Xsell session, and therefore is the foreground module once Xsell has started. Xsell Main is also used to configure program defaults, access database utilities and similar special functions, and to store and maintain the lists used for Inventory categorization, etc. Functions:

Xsell UsersThis module contains user (employee) information: name, address, contact numbers, tax ID number, password and access privileges. Each user can be assigned (or denied) access to a wide range of Xsell features and functions (including administrator access). An unlimited number of user records can be configured in this manner. Xsell PeopleThis module contains information about people the user does business with: customers, vendors and consignors. Each People record is classified as one of the three types when it first created. Each record type can have related records in inventory, which are automatically classified according to the owner type:

Xsell InventoryThe Inventory Module contains both currently and historical merchandise records. This versatile module supports serialized inventory, unique and restockable items, fixed and flexibly priced items, and more. Xsell Inventory and Xsell People are tightly integrated, offering a range of powerful and flexible ways to view and work with records. Functions:

Xsell SalesThis module is the "Cash Register" portion of the Xsell system. Individual and multiple items are sold using a simple Register-tape interface. Powerful merge, lookup and browsing features make short work of entering items onto the sales ticket. An Xsell People record can be associated with the sale, allowing the user to track the buying patterns of customers. Pricing on items can be easily adjusted on a line-by-line basis as well as with a blanket discount for the entire sales ticket. Functions:
