In practice the functions to be expanded into Fourier series are not usually given by analytic functions.They are usually derived from measurements taken of such things as the tangential force on a piston, pressure in a pump, or mechanical or electrical oscillations.
In this case Fourier analysis is still possible. This software, (The Hormonic Analyser) calculates the approximate values of the integrals of the Euler-Fourier formulae, the magnitude and phase of these coefficients. It also produces magnitude and phase plots of these coefficients.
