Poetry, like breathing, repeats itself each day.

Each line is a fresh drawn breath of air.

Words which flow with the rhythm of a heartbeat;

essence of the lives we live, and work, and play.

The carousel horse above is a hand carved replica of the famous M. C. Illions "American Beauty"

It was carved by my friend Tim Roberts and gilded by myself. I finished it with brushed enamels

and airbrushed highlights. Finally I sprayed it with 3 coats of automotive clear.

Won't you take a ride on the carousel, and travel round and round;

Floating up and down again, but never touch the ground.

Enter a world of make-believe, where nothing ever goes wrong;

Where fantasy meets reality to the tune of the calliope's song.

Yes, you have caught me at work at last, but I rarely do I work very fast.

I took this picture about 6 years ago. It is proof that I am Oh, so slow.

The photo shows I am in no rush, for in six long years,

I've not moved that brush.

I have these web pages at FortuneCity. I like this site because I found it easy to construct web pages here. I have only owned a computer since March of 1999, so progress has been slow for me in learning how to use the computer, page building, even basic typing has been a taskmaster at times.
