This cowboy puzzle is not only the first
project I had done using a scroll
saw, but it was also the easiest project I have ever made.
First I copied a picture which I found in a coloring
book onto a piece of maple, and then cut the pieces out with my scroll
saw.
Then I painted it, and gave it to my 3
1/2 year old son.
7 1/4" high, 5" wide, 1/2" thick

Puzzle pieces are made of 1/2" Maple
Puzzle frame is made of 2 boards
of 1/8" birch ply.
Top of frame is stained fruit wood.
Frame 7 3/4" wide, 8 1/2" high, 1/4" thick
Boy with box 5 1/4" high, 5 1/4" wide
Bird is 1" high, 3/4" wide
