Ornaments are great projects for beginner scrollers.
When finished, you can do many things with your ornament.
You can leave it as is, paint it,
add a bow (as shown), add some glitter, etc...
I was thinking about Christmas gifts the other day, and I was also
thinking of all the
scrap stock that I had in my shop. The end result, a wooden Christmas
card.
I scanned a picture from a catalogue, enlarged it and transferred it
over to the scrap pieces
I found laying around. I then used my scroll saw to cut the pieces
to fit properly,
painted the pieces, and glued Santa onto a piece of white poplar.
