Name Plaque
|
This is a name plaque which my neighbor had asked me to make for
her horse's stable door.
She purchased a plaque made of pine, and chose the font for the lettering
using her computer. Then I took care of the rest.
I copied the lettering onto 1/4"
Birch ply wood, and then cut out each letter using a scroll
saw. I sanded everything smooth, stained the letters, and then glued
them in place. Afterwards, I finished it off with several coats of gloss
varnish.
I made these 2 plaques the same way
for my neighbors friends.

Busy Mom Plaques
|
When I first started woodworking, I swore to myself that I would
never get into wall plaques.
But I saw this one in a catalogue, and couldn't resist copying it.
I glued a couple of strips of super magnet to the back, and now it hangs
on my fridge.
