MISSION
The mission of Providence House is to assist individuals and families in gaining a
deeper and more complete understanding of and love for the teachings of the Roman
Catholic Church. Providence House provides interested individuals with a unique
opportunity to support our Holy Father, Pope John Paul II, in his call for The New
Evangelization by combining our spiritual and business lives.
This mission is accomplished by Independent Representatives of Providence
House through the distribution of Catholic literature and materials that are faithful to
the teachings of the Church.
WHY PROVIDENCE HOUSE
With over 61,000,000 members in the United States, the Catholic Church
constitutes our nation's largest single religious denomination. Catholics have the
highest per capita income as well as the highest level of education when
compared to the other major U. S. denominations. The Catholic Church also
enjoys the highest level of weekly church attendance of all the major
denominations.
Despite these statistics, the average Catholic is not a regular consumer of the
wealth of Catholic books, art, devotional items, videos, and music. In any given
year, less than 5% of all Catholics purchase any products that are Catholic in
nature. In a country in which over $8 billion of pornography is sold annually, less
than $200 million in Catholic products are sold in retail stores.
Outstanding Catholic publishers, video producers, musicians, and artists are
producing products that can transform people's lives. Our Holy Father, Pope
John Paul II, has asked the laity to join him in a mighty effort he has called The
New Evangelization. Providence House is a direct response to this request.
Through our unique method of distribution, we believe we can evangelize and
energize millions of Catholics. The millions of American Catholics who have
never shopped at a Catholic bookstore or seen a Catholic catalog will now be able
to purchase the finest Catholic products available. For the first time, they will be
able to buy from their friends and neighbors while at home or at church.

HOW PROVIDENCE HOUSE WORKS
Through a series of unique relationships with Catholic suppliers, Providence
House offers dedicated individuals the opportunity to participate in The New
Evangelization while, at the same time, earn income by selling items from our
catalog. Furthermore, Representatives can earn additional income by sponsoring
and assisting other Independent Representatives.
Providence House Representatives are free to use their entrepreneurial skills and
vision in developing their business apostolate. The primary vehicles for sales are:
(I) Individual Sales; (2) Home Shows and Open Houses; (3) Parish and Conference
Book Fairs; (4) Organization Fund-Raisers; and (5) Parish and School Bookstores.
Individual Sales
The first source of sales for any Providence House Representative will be
Individual Sales to family members, friends, fellow parishioners, and
acquaintances. Because Providence House maintains no minimum purchase
requirement, Representatives can earn commissions on orders of any size. All
orders will be drop-shipped to your customer.
Home Shows and Open Houses
Perhaps the finest and most consistent means to sell products and sponsor
Representatives is through Home Shows and Open Houses. Interested individuals,
as well as the Representative, can host a Providence House show in their home. For
example, a young mothers group could meet in a member's home to examine the
many outstanding Catholic products available for their children. Not only would
the member who hosts the show receive free products based upon the sales volume
for the show, but also she would have the opportunity to place additional orders at
a significant discount.
Parish And Conference Book Fairs
Representatives can schedule Book Fairs at local parishes, schools, youth centers,
and conferences. Some Representatives will provide inventory so customers can
take home their purchases that day. Others will simply display sample products
from which customers can place orders for shipment to their homes. Also,
Providence House will provide Representatives with free product incentives to
entice organizations to host Book Fairs.
Fund-Raisers
Providence House Representatives can schedule Fund-Raisers with Catholic
organizations such as pro-life groups, youth groups, altar guilds, school boards, etc.
No longer must these organizations resort to bake sales and car washes to raise
money. Providence House provides these organizations the opportunity to raise
significant amounts of money while advancing the Faith through the finest Catholic
products available.
Parish and School Bookstores
By opening a Providence House Bookstore in a local parish or school, not only
will Representatives see higher consistent sales, but also they will be placing great
Catholic books and gifts in a highly visible location where people gather daily and/or
weekly
PROVIDENCE HOUSE COMPENSATION PLAN
Upon associating with Providence House as an independent contractor, each
Representative is classified as a Consultant. The Consultant is the first step in the
Providence House career plan. Consultants can be promoted to Manager status,
and ultimately to the highest level within Providence House, the Director.
The following is a brief summary of the minimum requirements and
compensation program for Providence House Consultants, Managers and Directors.

included in the Providence House Handbook.
All Representatives must purchase a starter kit or sales kit and place
minimum retail orders of $100.00 per calendar year to remain active.
DISCOUNT SCHEDULE FOR ALL REPRESENTATIVES
All Representatives, whether Consultants, Managers, or Directors receive a 25%
discount off the retail order placed. When Providence House Representatives sell
Providence House products at retail price, they receive the difference between the
retail price and the discount price as income. If the order is for personal use, the
discount simply reduces the price of the purchase by 25%. The one exception to the
discount schedule is for Fund-Raisers. The amount to be paid to the beneficiary of
the Fund-Raiser is ultimately up to the discretion of the individual Representative.
We do, however, suggest that Representatives pass the entire 25% discount on to
the organization, while receiving the Personal Bonus mentioned below as their
compensation on the Fund-Raiser.
PERSONAL BONUSES
All representatives can also receive an additional Personal Bonus of up to 10%
of the wholesale value of all personal sales. Representatives qualify for Personal
Bonuses with as little as $100 in personal volume.
GROUP BONUSES
By helping others recognize the benefits of affiliation with Providence House,
you can receive Group Bonuses of up to 6% of the group wholesale volume of
those Consultants in your sales group.
MANAGER OVERRIDES
Once you have reached Manager status, you can receive Manager Overrides of
up to 4% on the wholesale group volume of Managers in your sales organization.
You can also receive group volume Manager Overrides on up to three generations
of Managers in your sales organization.
INFINITY BONUSES
Upon becoming a Director, you will receive Infinity Bonuses of up to 3% of
the wholesale group volume of your entire sales organization. These infinity
bonuses are not limited to any numbers of levels or generations.
BONUS POOLS
In addition, Providence House has set up two separate bonus pools wherein you
may earn shares and receive potentially significant additional income. Together,
these two pools represent 3% of all Providence House business and are paid
monthly. The "Pace Setter Club" is designed for all new Representatives who
have $250.00 in personal sales volume and sponsor a new Consultant with $100.00
in personal sales volume within their first 30 days as a Providence House
Representative. Membership in the Pace Setter Club qualifies the new
Representative and their Sponsor for a share of a bonus pool made up of 2% of
Providence House's total sales for that month. Sponsors may qualify for multiple
shares by qualifying more than one new Pace Setter in the month.
The second Providence House bonus pool is The President's C1ub. The
President's Club is the highest recognition and reward program of the career and
compensation plan. Those Representatives who achieve Executive Director status
and then develop at least one Executive Director in their sales organization become
members of the President's Club and share in a cash incentive pool made up of 1%
of Providence House's total sales that month. One share is given for each qualified
Executive Director in your sales organization.
SPECIAL PROMOTIONS
Each month, all Providence House Representatives receive a newsletter
containing special promotional offerings of products available at up to 70%
discounts. In addition, Representatives have the opportunity to purchase every new
product offered by Providence House at a 30% discount during its first month in
the Providence House program.
ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE FEE
Providence House has a very effective home-office support system that provides
Representatives with up-to-date management information regarding their general
business operations and the specific activity of each Representative's business. This
support comes in the form of monthly newsletters, bulletins, printouts of sales and
sponsoring activity of the Representative's group and sales organization, conference
calls, meetings, etc.. The cost of these important services is paid for with a $25.00
annual fee for all Managers and a $50.00 annual fee for all Directors. Consultants
