Eyes and Eyebrows
*BRIGHT EYES*
To make the whites of your eyes look brighter, use a light blue Pencil under the eyes. Blue eye shadow lightly applied under the eyes also works.

How to make your eyes look larger -

1. Brush a light shadow from lash line to brow. Add second layer from
lash line to crease.
2. When applying liner, widen the line at the outer edge to lift the
corner. Line outer corners with dark pencil and then top with shadow of
similiar color.
3. An icy blue eyeliner along the lash line will open up "heavy" eyes.
4. Curl lashes at corner of your eyes. These lashes are often missed.
5. Use black or navy mascara to add definition.
6. False lashes aren't the easiest to apply, but will do wonders for
your eyes.
7. Use an ivory or white highlighter beneath the brow. Your coloring
will help determine the color you choose.
8. Darken brows to frame the eyes. Ignoring the brow area can
completely ruin all the work you have done to open up the eye area.

How To Apply Eye Shadow:
Here's How: Before you start, dust eyelid with a dampened brush and a little face powder. This will help to prevent your shadow from melting. Choose three shades in the same color family - light, medium and a darker shade for contrast Apply the lightest shade on the entire lid from brow to lash line. The medium shade is going to bring out the color of your eyes. Apply from lash line to just above the crease. The darkest color is going to be applied close to the lashes. Dampen the brush and then pick up a little color. Smudge it in around the lash base. If you have bags beneath your eyes, you might want to only line the top lashes.

Wait -before you start with your eyebrows:
*NO "OUCH" PLUCKING*
Before you pluck your eyebrows. If you don't want to wax them, you can try Orajel on your eyebrows before you start to pluck them. It actually numbs the skin to make it less painful. I have thick eyebrows and find this works great. Love the newletter. Keep up the great work.

How to Shape Your Eyebrows:
Step 1 Start by combing the brows upward and away towards the hairline.

Step 2 Using a brow pencil or shadow, paint in brows using a darker color than your hair color. This will help you with the next steps. The crest of the arch should always be above the eye socket and just outside of where the pupil is. The eyebrow itself starts inside the eye socket and continues upward to the arch.

Step 3 To see where the brow should begin, using your pencil place it at the edge of your nose and connect this point to the corresponding inside corner of your eye. The line it makes is where the brow should begin.

Step 4 Hold the pencil to the same edge of the nose and connect it with the outer corner of the corresponding eye. If you continue that line, this will show you where the brow will end.

Step 5 Tweeze away any hairs that do not fall into those lines. (Note do not use the pencil to draw these lines on the face only use it as a straight edge to show you the key points that define you brows) Since our faces differ from one side to the other a simple way to make sure both sides are balanced before beginning on the other brow is to place the pencil on the outer point of one brow to the inner point of the same brow and the inner point of the opposite brow. The pencil should make a straight line. This should be done on both side to make sure the brows are balanced. The reason for this step is because the brows are what balances the whole face.

Step 6 Repeat the process for the other eye.
