Baby Shower games
Baby Shower games:
1) Take labels off of about 6 jars of baby food. Number jars with a
sharpie pen. (Number the labels so you know which go with what jar.) Pass
the jars around and have the guests guess what type of baby food it is.
(carrots/sweet potatoes/apricots look similar as do peas/green
beans/spinach) Or have a taste test. Have the guests taste the baby food
and guess what the flavor is. (Use little ice cream tester spoons.) When
the game is over tape the labels back on the jars and put the jars on the
gift table for the mother-to-be.

2) Take approx 6 diapers and label them with a sharpie pen 1,2 3, etc.
Take approx 6 different candy bars and cut about 1/3 of the candy off. Put
1/3 of each candy bar in a different diaper. Microwave each of the diapers
for a few minutes each so that the candy softens. Mush the candy around in
the diaper a little bit. The object of the game is to identify the type of
candy bar in each diaper by looks or smell. It is very funny to see people
passing the diapers around sniffing each one. Make sure you have a camera
handy.

Food:
1) Rubber ducky punch. Put blue drink in a punch bowl. (Kood-aid has some
pretty blue drinks. I've used blue raspberry lemonade before and it was
very pretty.) Float a rubber duck on top.

2) Pacifier mints. For each 'pacifier' take two lifesaver mints (the white
ones). Use a little frosting to hook them together in a "T" shape (one
vertical/one horizontal). Then 'frosting glue' a yellow jellybean into the
hole of the horizontal lifesaver. This looks just like a little pacifier.
Very cute and easy to make. You can tie little, thin, blue or pink ribbons
on the 'pacifier' handles.

Decoration:
1) Diaper cake (a 'cake' made from diapers - let me know if you need the
directions- it's easy). This can double as deco and a gift. I usually make
two - one for a food table centerpiece and one for the gift table. You
could also use this as a game - guess how many diapers are in the diaper
cake.
