Damaged beyond repair?
We are a repair first facility. What that means is
we care about the environment and never recommend changing a windshield
that can be repaired. We do our best to repair any damage but there
are chips that simply cannot be fixed. Some because they are
directly in the line of sight of the driver and cannot be legally
repaired. Others may just be to big. If the inside layer of
the windshield has been damaged, the windshield must be replaced.
We use only new windshields and tempered glass from the
finest manufacturers. Installed with the best urethane and moldings available to ensure your new piece of auto glass has the perfect fit and
look that it did when it was new. We stock the most common auto
glass and can get just about anything in less than a day. We offer
mobile service most of the summer and can only offer this service to
customers with a large enough, heated garage in the winter months.
The Goals of Windshield Repair:
Stop damage from getting worse. If left unrepaired, even the smallest
rock chip (known as a "ding") will increase in size until the
entire windshield is compromised.
Restore structural strength to the
glass. The modern windshield is an important part of the safety envelope
designed into the vehicle's passenger compartment. Repair does not disturb
the factory seal of glass to vehicle. Safety is preserved.
Restore clarity
to the glass. When an object hits a windshield, some of the original glass
is displaced and air is allowed to enter. Since air and glass have
different densities, the human eye registers the difference in the form of
a damaged or blurred area. Windshield repair restores clarity by
evacuating air from the break and replacing it with resin. The resin is
optically matched to the glass.
