  • How To: Install A Hard Drive
  • Locate Hard Drive manual
  • Clear an open well lit work area.
  • allow 2-3 hours in case of problems.

  • Installing a hard drive is a fairly simple process. With a little preperation you can easily avoid losing any data from your existing drive. Most hard drives include a VERY small manual indicating what is where on the drive. However, these manuals do not cover the entire process of the upgrade. Using a big table with plenty of light will make the task much easier. Also allowing yourself plenty of time will help prevent mistakes.
