FEES AND CONDITIONS
|
EXAMINATION OF EVIDENCE, DOCUMENTATION, AND VERBAL REPORT- $2000.00.
Examination of additional tires from same accident $300 each. Send the evidence and payment
with all available accident information-police reports, photos, witness statements, etc. that
might be applicable. No examinations are initiated before the fee is received. Evidence
shipped without payment may be immediately returned.

SHIPPING RECOMMENDATIONS: Please clearly mark the evidence itself with your firm
name before boxing and shipping. Federal Express or United Parcel with tracking service are
recommended. "Box and ship" stores are convenient for this purpose. Do not use styrene
"peanuts" in packaging. Do not send wooden crates unless necessary.

INSPECTIONS IN THE FIELD: $3000 per 8-hour day plus expenses. $150 per hour travel time
beyond 8 hours. Fees and expenses will be estimated for the client and an advance will be
required before travel begins. It is usually more effective, and substantially more economical,
to send all evidence to our laboratory.

PLEASE NOTE: The fees above are for examination services only. They are not a binding
retainer and do not authorize the use of TIRE CONSULTANTS, INC. names in litigation nor
do they guarantee any additional services or support.

RETAINER-$4000. If it is agreed that TIRE CONSULTANTS, INC. will act on behalf of a
client, this fee, in addition to the preliminary examination fee, will constitute an agreement to
represent that client on a specific case to the exclusion of others, and authorize use of TIRE
CONSULTANTS names. Hourly fees of $300 will be charged against the retainer until
exhausted, at which point fees will be billed periodically in advance or as used. The retainer
is non-refundable.

TRIALS AND DEPOSITIONS-$3000 PER 8-HOUR DAY OR PART THEREOF. An advance s
required for all field inspections, trials and depositions. Any expenses and/or for extra travel
time at $150 per hour will be additional. (Any shortfall from the daily fee and expenses paid by
a third party will become the responsibility of the client.) Dick Baumgardner has retired from
outside activities and will no longer testify in trials or depositions.

OTHER SERVICES:
|
Evidence storage -$40 per month, billed quarterly.
|
X-rays-$200 per tire. (Two films.)
|
Holography-$350 per tire. (Complete non-destructive separation detection)
|
The contacting agent and/or firm shall accept responsibility for payment of all fees unless
otherwise agreed to in advance writing.
