Robert G. Vernon, a Louisiana native, has been actively involved in the music and entertainment industry for over 45 years, beginning as a drummer at age six. He attended the Sherwood Oaks Experimental College for Recording Engineering and Production in Los Angeles and the United States Navy School of Music.

His audio production credits include recordings by Elvis Presley, Fats Domino, Hank Williams, Jr., Sam & Dave, Doug Kershaw, The Meters, Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ron Wood of the Rolling Stones and many others.

Bob Vernon also produced and managed the career of Fats Domino in the 1980s. During his tenure, Mr. Domino's earnings increased 500%!

His first investigative story was the RISE AND FALL OF REV. JIMMY SWAGGART in Penthouse which grossed the publishing giant over $20 Million.

Among Mr. Vernon's numerous video and film production credits are "FATS DOMINO & FRIENDS" - the most watched special in CINEMAX history and winner of the ACE AWARD for CINEMAX SESSIONS.

In addition, "CONFESSION OF AN ASSASSIN, The Murder of JFK" - which enjoyed top 20 status at Blockbuster Video Stores and in over 48,000 video outlets worldwide.

He is currently developing several new television and film projects which are featured on the BOBKAT website.

In 1994, Robert G. Vernon was inducted into the Louisiana Hall of Fame for his contributions to the music and entertainment industry.

In 1997, Bob Vernon founded Doug Kershaw's Cajun Kitchen, Inc. and Kershaw's CajunLand, Inc. and he currently serves as President and CEO. The company recently filed for public status with the NASD.
