Menu Item - View
The following menu items are listed: Set Restrictions Only, Changed
Restrictions, All Restrictions, Log File.
Set Restrictions Only - use this menu item to view the all the
restrictions set for the current user. You can do a "Save to File"
with this list of restrictions.
Changed Restrictions - use this menu item to see a list of
unsaved restrictions which you have changed for the current user this session. This
item has the option to "Show before saving restrictions" which
when set, will automatically display the list of changed restrictions when you do a "Save
to Registry" and give you the option of canceling the save to make
corrections.
All Restrictions - use this menu item to view all restrictions
which could possibly be set for the currently selected user.
Log File - use this menu item to look at all the entries in the
log file. All attempts to access Windows via Windows Security Officer 98
are kept here. If a user has logged in successfully, Windows
Security Officer 98 writes the user's name and
"Access=Successful" to the log file. If user doesn't log-in successfully
Windows Security Officer 98 writes the user's name and the
invalid password which the user entered into the log file. Also Windows
Security Officer 98 writes time when user stops working.
